Earlier this Summer, Jeff and I took the most amazing trip to Colorado. We traveled around Boulder, Aspen, and finished the trip in Colorado Springs with a visit to Pike's Peak. Colorado is always somewhere we have both wanted to go, so we finally made it happen. We flew into Denver in the evening and the next morning made our way over to Boulder. Sometimes you just feel a connection to a new place, well, we definitely felt that in Colorado. We would move to Boulder in a heartbeat if we weren't so attached to both our families and all our friends here in Atlanta. It has the most amazing scenery, food, and places to visit. All of the images below are from Downtown Boulder, and the Flatirons.
Right above is the University of Colorado Boulder...the campus is stunning! After exploring downtown Boulder, we headed to Rocky Mountain National Park for a day, which I highly recommend visiting if you ever get the chance. We had the perfect day for it, the weather was crisp and sunny. Our first stop was at Lily Lake.
Following our couple of days in Boulder, we headed to Aspen. Check back in a few days to see our adventures there!
