Custom Wedding & social stationery

Congratulations on being engaged! Your invitations are the first insight your guests will have in to your big day so why not set the tone and blow them away! I believe in combining custom design details that tell your story along with using the highest quality paper products to achieve an elevated aesthetic for your dream event. To help illustrate what it’s like to work with me on custom wedding invitations, I’ve outlined my process and the services I offer, as well as examples of custom wedding projects below.



What to expect?


Consultation and Booking

The process begins with a phone call, email conversation, or meeting where we’ll talk about you and your fiancé and your ideas, inspiration, and all of your paper needs. If you’re in or near the Marietta/ Atlanta area then we can meet in person. Once you’re confident that I understand your ideas, I will prepare an estimate for your project. The estimate is based on quantity needed and preferred printing method. Once you’ve reviewed the estimate and decided that we are a good fit, then I will provide a contract outlining the details of the project and collect a 50% non-refundable deposit to mark your spot on my calendar.


gathering Inspiration & sketches

Once the contract is signed and the deposit is paid, we will start gathering inspiration. We will share and discuss all kinds of inspiration and determine what you’re drawn to visually. I will then provide a sketch that will serve as the road map for all of the pieces in your custom suite. This sketch will contain unique elements specific to you and your fiancé! Once we nail down the sketch, I will then move on to designing and laying out the artwork.


Design & proofing

Using the sketches and inspiration as a starting point, I will begin creating the artwork and design the pieces in your invitation suite. The initial design proofs will include the invitation, reply card, and accompanying envelopes. After you have reviewed and we have discussed your initial feedback,  all of the remaining pieces will be designed to coordinate. I will perfect your design through up to three rounds of refinements. Additional refinements can be accommodated, but will alter the timeline and be billed on a per-refinement basis. Once all of the designs are finalized and approved, I will provide a print-ready proof for your review. This is the last time to double check for all correct spelling and event details. I require approval of the final proof by written statement before sending your project to print.


Printing, Assembly, & Mailing

Once I have your signed print approval in hand, I prepare and send your files to be printed. Turnaround times vary depending on the type of printing you choose. In general; printing, assembly, and delivery take approximately three weeks. Depending on your chosen package, I will address, assemble, stuff, and stamp your invitations. Once this is completed, final payment will be due prior to shipping your invitations to you.




How much does it cost?


Each project is unique, therefore a custom quote will be prepared for each couple. I am happy to work with you and put together a proposal that fits within your budget. My custom invitation rates for 2019 begin at $1,875. Please know that this can include save the dates, invitations, and reception stationery.
